Born 20th August 1963, Mr. Bamgbose, MurtalaOlatunji holds a Master Degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
He started his Lagos State Public Service Career in 1996 when he was employed as planning officer II, GL.08 and deployed to the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget where he worked in the Budget Department and became Director of Budget in 2014/2015 before his deployment to Office of Chief Staff as Director of Planning.
He had since then worked in various capacities and MDAs where he has garnered experience and added value to the Lagos State Public Service in all aspect of administration, such as Personnel Budget, Training, Learning & Development, etc.
During his tour of the State Public Service, Mr Bamgbose has traversed various MDAs. These include Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Lands Bureau; Office of the Chief of Staff and Ministry of Finance.
Others are Local Government Service Commission;Local Government Establishments, Training &Pensions; and Lagos State Judicial Service Commission before his deployment to the Office of the Deputy Governor in January, 2022 as Director, Administration and Human Resources.
A seasoned and dedicated Officer, Mr Bamgbose’shobbies include interacting with people, visiting new places, and reading books of interest. He is happily married with children.
