Mr. Ekemode Adetola Rahsuque was born on the 29th June, 1969 into the family of Alhaji Tolani Ekemode and Mrs. Sherifat Ekemode both indigenes of Epe, Lagos-State. He obtained his Elementary School Certificate from St. Patrick’s Primary having completed in 1978 and proceeded to both St. Patrick’s Grammar School and Ewutuntun Grammar School in Lagos for his secondary school education at.
He then proceeded to the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu where he obtained a National Diploma and the Yaba College of Technology for the Higher National Diploma in Accountancy.
Mr. Ekemode was employed into the Lagos State Civil Service as Principal Tax Assistant IV, GL.08 with effect from 24th July, 1997. His appointment was confirmed with effect from 24th July, 1999 and he rose through the ranks to the post of Asst. Chief Inspector of Taxes until his re-designation as Asst. Chief Accountant, GL. 13 w.e.f 19th January, 2008 and rose through the ranks to his present post of Deputy Director (F&A), GL.16.
In a bid to acquire additional knowledge and enhance his professional skill in the Public Service, Mr. Ekemode obtained Masters in Public Administration in the Year 2015. He is a Fellow in ICAN and CITN.
Since he joined the service, Mr. Ekemode had served in the following Agencies; Board of Internal Revenue (defunct), Ministry of Transportation; Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA); Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) and Ministry of Finance. Others are Parastatals Monitoring Office, Office of Civil Engagement (OCE) and Office of the Deputy Governor
In the Course of his career, Mr. Ekemode has gained so much experience through his attendance of relevance courses, seminars, workshops and conferences both local and international. He was appointed a member of the Committee on the State Implementation of International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS)
Mr. Ekemode is a dutiful, humble, honest, reliable, trustworthy, diligent and skillful officer who knows his onions and is always meticulous while performing his duties.
Mr. Ekemode is married with Children.
